Download Theme Song FIFA World Cup 2010, Soca and dancehall have once again meshed in a regionally significant scenario that involves 20/20 Cricket. Despite fluctuating moments of disenchantment and pride, the people of the West Indies have celebrated the triumphs of the West Indies cricket team together, over the years. For this reason, cricket across the region is symbolic of unity for Caribbean people. The International Cricket Council’s 20/20 World Cup campaign begins on April 30, in Guyana, and at the helm of the hype are two of the region’s most spectacular performers.

Download Theme Song World Cup 2010 Soca queen Fay-Ann Lyons-Alvarez has once again teamed up with a Jamaican counterpart, to produce a track to spark the excitement of the people. Alongside Clifford Smith, popularly known by his sobriquet, Mr Vegas, the pair have unleashed Bring It. On Wednesday, Lyons and Mr Vegas facilitated a promotional tour in Trinidad to radio stations and other media houses. The local population would have learnt that the track was written by the two singers, along with Marlon Chen out of Coda Studio in Orlando, Florida. Chen is also responsible for the production of the song, which has been described as infectious and vibrant.

According to ICC officials, this year’s theme song aims at capturing the younger cricket fans throughout the Caribbean. With the lyrics, “Are you ready? Bring it posse, we ready/20 posse we ready/Let’s show the world how we party,” the Caribbean is in for a rhythmic, high-energy 20/20 cricket campaign in 2010. In 2007, Lyons-Alvarez teamed up with Shaggy and Rupee for that year’s ICC Cricket World Cup theme song, Game of Love And Unity. Regional marketing manager, Michelle Gibson, in an interview with Guyana’s Stabroek News said, “Partying and playing cricket go hand in hand.

Music has always been an essential part of cricket matches in the Caribbean, whether it’s DJs or tuk bands or the unmistakable sound of the conch shell.” Already, anticipation for the tournament is high across the region, as Guyana has presented its Bring It bus to hype up the masses on the island. The 20/20 tournament goes through May 16.
